Overview

Versa Drives offers a compact automatic door operator drive built around a matched 90 W Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) and controller. This integrated motor–drive set is designed for:

  • Elevator car doors and landing doors in vertical transport systems
  • Automatic sliding doors in hospitals, commercial buildings and cleanrooms
  • Other automatic doors within the torque and speed range of the 90 W PMSM kit

The controller runs from a single-phase 200–264 V AC, 50 Hz supply and uses encoder-based vector control to deliver smooth, quiet motion, precise positioning and repeatable open/close profiles. OEMs can use this as a ready platform for new door systems or to replace older motor–drive solutions with a more efficient PMSM-based alternative.

  • Braking relay output allows the PMSM to be electrically braked in power-fail conditions (with appropriate mechanical design).
