A printing machine incorporated for large scale printing purpose needs to print with a good quality at a faster speed. Our drives are designed for these kinds of applications where printing machines are used in newspaper presses, labellers, different printing operations like web, flexographic, 3D printing and so on. The drives provide fine and smooth control of speed, position, torque and tension for efficient printing operation. Use of Brushless DC motors is desirable for printing machines due to their critical advantages viz. high dynamic response, speed and efficiency. Therefore, our drives are designed to control these motors for great performance. The drive can perform both, sensor-based and sensorless control of motor. Sensor- based control is achieved by either using hall sensors or motor encoder. Sensorless control is achieved by using back emf sensing. Our drives can execute both sine wave and trapezoidal wave commutation of motor current.
